Terms of Service

Last updated 3 October 2026

DiceSim is a simulation and analysis tool. These terms cover accounts, the strategies you save, the marketplace, affiliate links and what we are (and are not) responsible for.

01What you are agreeing to

These terms govern your use of dicesim.com and its API (together, “DiceSim” or “the service”). By using the site you accept them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

DiceSim is a software tool: a Lua simulator, a probability calculator, a community library of strategies, and a marketplace for selling strategy code. It is not a gambling operator. No bets are placed, accepted or settled on this site, and no money is held on your behalf.

02Who may use it

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher. Although the simulator itself involves no wagering, the site links to real-money casinos and discusses gambling strategies, and we do not want minors here.

You are responsible for knowing whether online gambling, or any casino we link to, is legal in your jurisdiction. Nothing on DiceSim is an invitation to gamble where it is prohibited.

03Simulations are not predictions

Every number on this site comes from a simulation against a pseudo-random source, or from textbook probability formulas. They describe what could happen under stated assumptions; they do not predict what will happen at any casino, and they do not account for limits, fees, downtime, latency or rule differences at real sites.

Dice games have a built-in house edge. Over a large number of bets every betting system, including every strategy on this site, is expected to lose. A strategy that ranks highly on the leaderboard did well on specific seeds; that is not evidence it will do well for you. Nothing here is financial, investment or gambling advice. Decisions you make with real money are yours alone.

04Accounts

  • Keep your password and API keys secret. You are responsible for activity under your account and keys.
  • One person, one account. Do not create accounts to manipulate the leaderboard, marketplace ratings or tournaments.
  • Usernames that impersonate others, contain slurs, or are chosen to deceive may be changed or removed.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms, attack the service, or are used for fraud. Where reasonable we will tell you why.

05Your strategies and content

You keep ownership of the Lua code, descriptions and profile content you create. By saving content to DiceSim you grant us a licence to store it, execute it in our simulation service (for verification, previews and the agent API), display the parts you make public, and produce derived statistics such as leaderboard entries and share cards. This licence lasts as long as the content is on the service plus the retention period described in the Privacy Policy.

Code privacy. Your source is never displayed to other users unless you sell it to them. Public strategy pages and leaderboards show names and aggregate statistics only. DiceSim administrators can view any saved strategy for moderation, verification, dispute handling and quality work, as described in the Privacy Policy; admins may not sell, publish or claim your code as their own.

You must not upload content that:

  • you do not have the right to share (for example, a paid script you purchased from someone else);
  • contains malware, exploits, or attempts to escape the Lua sandbox or abuse the simulation service;
  • is designed to automate play at a casino from our servers (DiceSim simulates and does not place bets);
  • is unlawful, defamatory, or harasses other users.

06Leaderboards and tournaments

Submitted runs may be re-executed server-side against the same seeds to verify them. Runs that do not reproduce, exploit a bug, or use manipulated seeds will be removed and may lead to suspension. Tournament prizes, where offered, are governed by the rules on each tournament page; we may withhold a prize while a verification dispute is open and may disqualify entries that break the tournament’s constraints.

07Marketplace

Sellers list a strategy at a USD price; buyers pay in USDC or USDT on a supported chain directly from their own wallet. Payments are non-custodial: funds go to the seller’s wallet and to the DiceSim platform wallet (a 10% platform fee) in the same transaction or in two transfers. DiceSim never holds the funds and cannot reverse a blockchain transaction.

  • Sellers warrant that they own or have the right to sell the code, that the description is accurate, and that the blackbox preview statistics are produced by the listed code. Sellers receive the buyer’s payment net of the platform fee and are responsible for their own taxes.
  • Buyers receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use and modify the purchased code for their own simulations and play. Reselling, republishing or listing a purchased strategy is not permitted.
  • Refunds. Because delivery is immediate and payments are on-chain, purchases are final. If a listing was materially misdescribed, contact us within 14 days; we may remove the listing, suspend the seller and, where the seller agrees, facilitate a refund. We cannot compel a refund from a wallet we do not control.
  • Network fees, exchange-rate movements between quote and payment, and wallet errors (wrong chain, wrong token) are the paying party’s responsibility.

08Affiliate links

Casino links marked “Play now” or “sponsored” contain referral codes. If you register or deposit through them, DiceSim earns a commission from the casino, or the strategy creator who shared the link does if they have bound their own referral code. This is how the free simulator is funded.

Affiliate income does not affect leaderboard rankings, verification outcomes or the statistics we show. We do not endorse any casino and we are not responsible for their services, terms, payouts or conduct; your relationship with a casino is with that casino.

09API and agent access

API keys are issued per account with scoped permissions and compute quotas. You may build tools and autonomous agents on the API. You may not share keys, circumvent rate limits or quotas, or use the API to scrape other users’ content. We may change endpoints with notice in the documentation and may revoke keys that are abused.

10Acceptable use

Do not:

  • probe, overload or attack the service, or try to break the Lua sandbox or worker isolation;
  • access other users’ private strategies, accounts or data;
  • use bots to inflate views, forks, clicks, ratings or leaderboard positions;
  • mirror the site or republish its content at scale without permission.

11Availability, warranties and liability

DiceSim is provided “as is”. We work to keep it fast and available, but we do not guarantee uptime, that simulations are free of bugs, or that any result is accurate or fit for a particular purpose. We may change or discontinue features at any time.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DiceSim and the people who operate it are not liable for gambling losses, lost profits, lost data, or any indirect or consequential damage arising from use of the service or of any casino we link to. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of USD 100 or the platform fees you paid us in the preceding twelve months. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud or for anything that cannot be limited by law.

12Changes, governing law, contact

We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do; significant changes will be announced in the app or by email to registered users. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the operator’s place of establishment, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be brought in the courts there, unless mandatory consumer law where you live gives you additional rights.
